FESTIVE DESSERT WREATHE

INGREDIENTS

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites

pinch salt

1 cup castor sugar

½ tsp vanilla essence

 

TOPPING:

1 pkt Simply Delish Strawberry Jelly

1 pkt Simply Delish Vanilla Pudding

1 ⅔ cups milk

Raspberries, mulberries, blueberries and strawberries for decoration.

METHOD

MERINGUE:

Preheat the oven to 120°C and line a large tray

Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.

Add the vanilla and castor sugar 1TBS at a time. (make sure each TBS is mixed in before adding the next.)

Pipe out a wreathe shape on a lined tray.

Turn oven down to 90°C and place tray in oven.

Bake meringues for 1 ½ hours. Turn the oven off and leave meringue in the oven to cool completely.

 

TOPPING:

Prepare Simply Delish Jelly and allow to cool.

Prepare Simply Delish Pudding and place mixture into a piping bag.

 

ASSEMBLE JUST BEFORE SERVING:

Pipe pudding in small peaks decoratively on top of the meringue

Cut jelly into thin slices (any shape or size) and place on top.

Decorate with berries and serve.
